Sky View Vase

This slightly asymmetrical vase created with natural clay is crafted using the Italian "sgraffito" technique. Instead of painting with a brush, cobalt blue pigment is mixed with wet clay and rubbed into the carved patterns, creating a blurred effect.

The design reminds me of the view from an airplane window, high above rivers.
