About Zhenya

Zhenya Cherniavskaya is an artist who honed her craft under esteemed mentors in Tel Aviv and pursued a comprehensive creative program at a renowned school of arts in Florence, Italy.

A master of forms, glazes, and textures, Zhenya infuses her ceramic creations with her vibrant energy and distinctive character. The majority of her pieces are either unique or part of limited series, each bearing the mark of her innovative spirit. She sparks imagination, evokes fantasy, and enlivens her work with a rich palette of colors, allowing the clay itself to influence the final outcome.

The true magic unfolds within the confines of the kiln, where temperatures soar to 1200 degrees Celsius. It is here that Zhenya's pottery undergoes its transformative journey, embracing the beauty of imperfections such as cracks, drips, and unique distortions.

At Zhenya Ceramics, we pride ourselves on utilizing only the finest materials, ensuring each piece is adorned with food-safe glazes that withstand both dishwasher and microwave use. Furthermore, meticulous attention is given to items featuring Raku firing or delicate gold accents, accompanied by special care instructions to ensure their lasting durability and enduring beauty.
